Wild Thing featuring Wild Thing & Arthur Crowe (extras)





This tutorial was written entirely by me, using PSP9, any resemblance to any other is purely coincidental.
This tutorial should work with any version of PSP.
This tutorial is written with the belief that you have a working knowledge of PSP, but is also suitable for beginners.

Materials you will need:

Scrap Kit of choice, I used Wild Thing by Wicked Princess Scraps.
Tube of choice, I used the art of ©Arthur Crowe which requires a license which may be purchased at his store.
Mask of choice, I used a mask by me KBH_2012_Mask33, and you may get it over on Creative Misfits blog.
Font of choice, I used VTC Bad Tattoo Hand.

Filter: 
Xero ~ Porcelain

Let's begin.

Open a new image, 750x750 you will re-size later.
Copy and paste as a new layer a paper from your kit.I used PP5.
Apply your mask; Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk.
Merge your group;Layers, Merge, Merge Group.
Place your tube, re-sizing as necessary.
Add a drop Shadow of 0,0,100,10; or you may add one of choice.
Apply Porcelain with these settings:


If these settings don't suit your tube, play with them until they fit more to your liking.
Begin placing your elements around your tube. Use flower, shoe, drink, and other elements that suit your tube of choice.
Re-size element between 35-80 to suit your purpose and balance your colors a bit.
Apply the same porcelain settings to various elements to highlight them.
Use the erase tool to help the elements blend well.
For your scatter element above the mask layer adjust your transparency to 80, so that it blends better.
Re-size, add your copyright and your name.
You have completed my tutorial.

Angels Tears (PTU) featuring Zindy & CBJ Scraps


This tutorial was written entirely by me, using PSP-9, any resemblance to any other is purely coincidental.
This tutorial should work with any version of PSP.
This tutorial is written with the belief that you have a working knowledge of PSP, but is also suitable for beginners.

Materials you will need:

Scrap Kit of choice, I used Angels Collection by CBJ Scraps.
Tube of choice, I used the art of ©Zindy S.D. Nielsen which requires a license which may be purchased at her store.
Font of choice, I used Hipsters Script Pro.

Filters:
Xero ~ Mistifier 
Xero ~ Radiance

Let's begin.

Open a new image, 750x750, you will re-size later.
Place your tube in the center of the image, and add a drop shadow of 0,0,100,12 or those setting of your choice.
Using your erase tool on a very soft brush with  Density on 80 and Opacity on 44 soften the edges of your tubes if necessary/desired.
Duplicate your tube layer.
On on original layer apply Mistifier with these settings:


On duplicate layer apply Radiance with these settings:


Now change properties to soft light and adjust transparency to 60.
If these settings don't suit your tube play with them so you can achieve your desired result.
Choose a filigree (swirl)or frame of choice from your kit, I used a filigree (swirl) and duplicated and mirrored it behind your tube layers.
Once you have created the background of choice merge your filigree layers together and add a drop shadow as above or that of your choice.
Using the filigree(swirl) use the deform tool to rotate in front of your tube layers and add your drop shadow.
Using the cloud element from your kit duplicate and rotate behind the "frame" (swirls/filigree)layer
Now being placing some "lights" around your tube & "frame".
Place elements of choice around to create your tag. 
I used ribbons(fabric),flowers, keys, and bows.
Position your elements as desired, for your flowers duplicate and re-size as needed.
Once you've got the elements as desired &used your erase tool to blend the elements together; apply Mistifier to your flower layers.
When using the filter play with the settings on each flower layer for variation in shading & clarity.
Re-size, add your copyright and your name.
You have completed my tutorial.

Full of Love(PTU) featuring Barbra Jensen & Heather's Devine Dezigns




This tutorial was written entirely by me, using PSP9, any resemblance to any other is purely coincidental.
This tutorial should work with any version of PSP.
This tutorial is written with the belief that you have a working knowledge of PSP, but is also suitable for beginners.

Materials you will need:
Scrap Kit of choice, I used My Heart Belongs to You by Heather's Devine Dezigns.
Tube of choice, I used the art of ©Barbara Jensen which requires a license which may be purchased at her store.
Mask of choice, I used one I made KBH_2013_Mask7, and you may get it here.
Font of choice, I used Cupie Doll.

Filters: 
Xero ~ Porcelain
AS EyeCandy 4000 ~ Gradient Glow


Let's begin.

Open a new image, 750x750 you will re-size later.
Copy and paste a paper from your kit as a new layer.
Apply your mask; Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk.
Merge your group; Layers, Merge, Merge group.
Begin Placing your elements with a scatter element beneath the mask layer.
Duplicate, mirror & flip as needed to suit your mask.
Next place your tube Position as desired and apply a drop shadow of 0,0,100,10 or one of your choice.
Apply Porcelain with these settings:


Play with the settings to suit your tube if these don't work.
Now choose two flowers from your kit and re-size one 70 and one 80.
Now re-size a box/gift from your kit between 60-80, play with is depending on what you going for.
Choose some filigree and leaves from your kit, using the rotation tool position as desired, re-size as needed.
Using a word art from your kit re-size as needed and position to suit your tube.
Add gradient glow using these setting or those of your choice:

     

Continue adding elements and re-sizing as needed, add drop shadow and gradient glow to suit your vision.
If you are following my tag as a guide, you may decide to use a Planter element, if there are bits that show use your erase tool to achieve what you like.
Using a scatter like the heart scatter and using the rotate and erase tool position to come out of your box.
Duplicate and re-size as you see fit.
Using ribbon elements re-sized as needed position using the deform tool.
I duplicated and re-sized twice.
Re-size your tag, add your copyright and your name.
You have completed my tutorial.

Cold Snow (PTU) featuring Scrap Schnegge & Marika (extras)




This tutorial was written entirely by me, using PSP9, any resemblance to any other is purely coincidental.
This tutorial should work with any version of PSP.
This tutorial is written with the belief that you have a working knowledge of PSP, but is also suitable for beginners.

Materials you will need:
Scrap Kit of choice, I used ScrapSchnegge-Marika-Pkg-15 by Schnegge.
Tube of choice, I used the art of ©Marika which requires a license which may be purchased at CDO.
Mask of choice, I used a mask by me KBH_2013_Mask6, and you may get it here.
Font of choice, I used Honey Bird.

Filters:
Xero ~ Porcelain
Muras ~ Copies 

Let's begin.
Open a new image, 750x750, you will re-size later.
Copy and paste as a new layer a paper from your kit.
Apply your mask of choice; Layers, Load/Save mask, Load mask from disk.
Then merge your group; Layers, Merge, Merge Group.
Now place a glitter from your kit and position beneath the mask layer. 
Duplicate and flip or mirror as needed.
Place a frame (I used frame 4) from your kit, add a drop shadow of 0,0,100,10 or one of choice.
Using elements of choice place around your frame as desired.
If you use my tag as a guide I used elements 29, 26, 11 & 18.
Ribbon element 11 I duplicated and mirrored then erased part of the bow.
Merge the ribbon layers together and use the rotate/deform tool to help position.
Element 26 was re-sized 80, and all element have the drop shadow above.
Now place your tube and position as desired, then add the drop shadow above or that of choice.
Apply Porcelain with these settings:


Or you may use settings suited to your tube or vision.
Using a ribbon element from your kit (I used Element 14) position around your tube as desired.
Again if you are using my tag as a guide I positioned my ribbon element added a drop shadow as above, and duplicated.
Next use your erase tool on the duplicate layer of the ribbon above the tube layer and erase bits that you want.
Using the same ribbon element I re-sized 70 and mirrored and repeated the process.
Next using a snowflake element from your kit, I used element 42 re-size 25 and position as desired.
Apply Muras Copies with these settings:


Duplicate this layer, and on the duplicate layer apply these settings:


You may duplicate again and mirror & flip to help position your snowflakes as desired.
Use your erase tool to erase bits that you don't want on your tag.
Re-size your tag, add your copyright and your name. 
You have completed my tutorial.

First blog of the year offering Masks



I've not had much energy thanks to a flu, but last night and today between naps and working I made a few masks. These are the second set of masks I've made this year, but you can't get the first set until the end of the month over on Creative Misfits blog.

Hi, I'm Kaci. Nope not that Kaci, the other one. I am still fairly new to PSPing compared to some and I love it!! I want to continue to learn so I can get better and continue making my own scrap kits. I love to make new friends so stop by and visit my little corner over here.

I'm still learning to blog too, so be patient while I figure this out, and I'm learning to do blog layouts, lol. I'm happy to have a few followers and look forward to more.

I've recently ventured into Digital scrap-booking store ownership with friends, so feel free to check out the links on the page.

I also love to knit, crochet (not really good at that just yet), read, cook, bake and learn new things. Most of what I post will probably be PSP related, but Iwill occasionally vent here too. Please leave a comment let me know what you think or if you want me to try something for a freebie.
