Sweet Rose (PTU) using Kikeka Kits

This tutorial was written entirely by me, using PSP9, any resemblance to any other is purely coincidental.

This tutorial should work with any version of PSP.

This tutorial is written with the belief that you have a working knowledge of PSP, but is also suitable for beginners.

Materials you will need:

Scrap Kit of choice, I used Topaz by Kikekas Kits.

Tube of choice, I used the art of ©Gennadiy Koufay which requires a license which may be purchased at CDO.

(But this tube is a bonus and only available until February 29,2012)

Mask of choice, I used Gemsmask35, and you may get it here.

Font of choice, I used Boulevard.

Filter:

Animation shop if you choose to animate

Animation elements if you animate you may find the one I used here, its by Lovey

Let's begin.

Open a new image, 750 x 750

Copy and paste as a new layer a paper from your kit. Apply your mask, and merge the group.

Using a couple of scatters or swirls from your kit paste above the merged mask layer add a gradient glow to compliment your tube.

Duplicate and mirror as desired, using the deform tool is useful in positioning too.

Take a candle element re-size 70 and place as desired adding a drop shadow.

Using the shoe element place "in front" of your candle adding a drop shadow again.

You may add a drop shadow and a gradient glow as desired to each element.

Re-size flower1 and 2 80, you may need to re-size 60 again then use your deform tool adjust and position.

Duplicate both and re-size 80 and position in a complimentary fashion around the shoe.

Re-size box2 60 position as you see fit.

Using a ribbon from your kit position as suits your vision duplicating, rotating & re-sizing as needed.

Position your tube as desired add a drop shadow above the top scatter layer, but beneath your elements.

Re-size, add your copyright and your name.

To animate:

In PSP x out all the layers above the top scatter layer. Copy merged and paste as a new animation into AS.

If you are using an animation like mine you will need to make 20 frames by holding the ctrl key and pressing the l key 19 times.

Open your animation element and select all then copy, go back to your tag select all then paste into current frame.

You may want more than one of the animations so repeat this if you'd like to.

Now go back to PSP, and un-x all the layers you have x-ed, then x the lower "background" layers.

Copy merged and paste as a new animation in AS.

Make sure the propagate and paste button in clicked then copy your new tag and copy.

Go to the animated background layers and select all and paste into current frame. this should put the "top" layer on your tag.

Check your animation, adjust the frame speed if desired.

Simple Beauty (FTU) using Stargazer Musings Scraps

This tutorial is written with the belief that you have a working knowledge of PSP, but is also suitable for Advanced beginners.

Materials you will need:

Scrap Kit of choice, Purple Elegance I used by Stargazer Musings.

Tube of choice, I used the art of ©Fumiko Barrows which requires a license which may be purchased at DSI.

Mask of choice, I used , gemsmask32 and you may get it here.

Font of choice, I used Lovely Audrey BG.

Filters:

Gradient Glow

Animation shop if you choose to animate.

Let's begin.

Open a new image, 750x750

Choose a paper from your kit, and apply your mask, invert transparency if desired(I did), then merge group.

Pick a frame and copy and paste as a new layer into your tag and add a gradient glow or a drop shadow.

Paste a layer of your tube beneath the frame layer add a drop shadow. Duplicate the tube and move above the frame layer.

Using your erase tool erase bits of the tube around the frame on both tube layers.

You may also use your clone tool to soften and hard edges of your tube.(I softened the small part of my tubes hair that was cut off straight).

Place a ribbon element around your frame layer as desired and embellish with flowers from your kit re-sized 30.

You may add a drop layer to each layer. Use your erase tool to Blend the layers together well.

Now using a hanging heart element you may "hang" it off your frame by using the erase tool and layering above and below the frame layer.

Re-size a dragon fly element 30 and add a drop shadow and gradient glow as desired, and place on your tag.

Repeat this process with the butterfly elements. You may use your deform tool to position.

Now re-size, add your copyright and name.

If you choose not to animate you have completed my tutorial.

If you choose to animate you need to duplicate each of the butterfly layers three times.

You should pinch or punch the duplicate layers of each between 15 & 25 depending on how you'd like your result.

Copy the original layer of your first butterfly into AS as a new animation then paste after current frame each duplicate layer of that butterfly.

Repeat this with the second butterfly making two new animations (one for each butterfly).

In animation shop chose the first of three frames of your first butterfly click on effects, then insert image effects, then Pinch.

Choose the customize, then choose horizontal, and canvas color, click OK. Adjust the frames per second to suit you and the Effect length as well.

(I used 2.4 for effect length and 1 for Frames per second).

Repeat this with the third of original frame you placed.

On the Original second frame repeat the steps, but rather than pinch you want to compress.

So you will have three frames pinch, then three frames compress then three frames pinch for a total of nine frames. Save this as an AS animation (.mng) file.

Repeat the steps with the second butterfly.

Choose one of the butterflies and select all then click animations and reverse frames. Re-save in the reverse.

Go back to PSP and copy Merged your tag, paste as a new animation in animation shop. Click ctrl-L eight times until you have 9 frames.

Make sure you have propagate and paste clicked then select all(ctrl-A).

Click on your first butterfly Select all, then copy go back to your tag frames Make sure you have all selected and paste into the current frame (ctrl-E).

Repeat this with the second butterfly.

Check your animation, and adjust the frame speed as desired (I used 15).

Snowbird (PTU) using CBJ Scraps & Zindy Art (Extras)

This tutorial is written with the belief that you have a working knowledge of PSP, but is also suitable for beginners.

Materials you will need:

Scrap Kit of choice, I used Soft Winter by CBJ Scraps.

Tube of choice, I used the art of ©Zindy S.D.Nielsen which requires a license which may be purchased at Zindy Zone.

Mask of choice, I used HorsePlay's Pasture Mask1, and you may get it here.

Font of choice, I used Corabael.

Let's begin.

Open a new image, 750x750

Choose a paper from your kit, I used paper2. Apply your mask and merge the group.

Next place your tube add a drop shadow, duplicate and apply the same mask and merge the group. Use your erase tool to soften any hard edges.

Use the erase tool on the original layer hard edges too, to help blend.

You may colorize both tube layers as desired adjusting the saturation to a tone desired.

Now place a frame I used a snow frame, behind both tube layers and add your drop shadow, and a gradient glow in diffuse on settings that suit you.

Next copy and paste the sow element and add the same mask used before.

Using the flake fall element re-sized 70 then re-sized 90. Duplicate this layer, flip and position as desired around your tube.

Next using the flower element (Flws1) add a drop shadow and duplicate. Place one layer below the tube layer and erase any bits on the layer above the tubes.

Place a ribbon layer re-sized as desired paste between each of the flower layers and add your drop shadow and duplicate.

Move the duplicate layer above the top flower layer and use the erase tool to "intertwine" with the flowers.

Go back to the un-erased flower layer and duplicate again then using the rotate tool rotate to the right by 90.

Using a different ribbon element, place beneath the rotated flower layer, add a drop shadow, and a gradient glow.

Duplicate this ribbon and move above the rotated flower layer, then using the erase tool "intertwine" the ribbon with the flowers.

Using the stick element place above the original flower layer and position as desired.

Pick a bird element and re-size by 50 and place among the ribbons and flowers, then add a drop shadow.

Duplicate the bird layer and mirror then re-size by 95. Place among the flowers and ribbons as well.

Re-size, add your copyright, and your name.

You've now completed my tutorial, thank you for trying it out.

Let's begin.

Open a new image, 750x750

Choose a paper from your kit, I chose paper 5, apply your mask then merge the group.

Next place the piano element from your kit re-size 70 then re-size 85, add a drop shadow.

Re-size the Heart Love Note element 50 and place as desired and add a drop shadow.

Using the present element re-size 70 if necessary use your deform tool adjust the size for your needs.Add your drop shadow.

Next take the candle element re-size 70 then 85 and add your drop shadow, and place behind your present layer.

Using the garter element re-size 50 then 70. Place beneath the present layer add a drop shadow and duplicate.

Move the duplicate layer above the present layer and use your erase tool to blend with the present layer.

Re-size the cupcake element by 50 twice, add a drop shadow. Position in front of the present layer as desired.

Copy and paste as a new layer beneath the mask layer the ribbon element and position as desired.

Repeat this process and reposition in a complimentary way.

Copy and paste your musical notes element just above the second ribbon layer re-size 70, then 80.

Place your tube as desired and re-size as necessary. Add your drop shadow.

Using your brush tool with a musical note brush varying color place musical notes on the mask group layer.

Take the cherry heart element and re-size 20 then 90 and place on the glass in the present layer. Add a drop shadow.

Re-size, add your copyright and you name, you have completed my tutorial.

Let's begin.

Open a new image, 750x750

Choose a paper from your kit (I used paper 13) apply your mask, layers, load/save mask, then merge the group.

Choose a frame from your kit, I used the ribbon heart element add a drop shadow of choice.

Using a ribbon from your kit copy and paste just below your frame layer, add a drop shadow, then duplicate.

Move the duplicate layer above the frame layer using the erase tool "intertwine" the ribbon layer with the frame.

Now using whichever elements suit you decorate your frame as desired, I used leaves 3, rings, and flower 11. re-size as necessary.

I re-sized varying between 40 & 20 using drop shadow as desired.

You will need to layer the elements and use your erase tool to blend as desired.

Next take the scattered dots element and mirror place beneath your group mask layer.

Position as desired. Choose sparkles from your kit, and place and duplicate as desired to achieve the desired result.

Copy and paste your tube beneath the frame layer.Click effects and Artistic effects Sepia toning. Set on 35.

Add your drop shadow and duplicate.

Move the duplicate layer above the frame layer and use your erase tool to erase bits of the tube outside of frame.

Re-size your tag, add your copyright and you Name.

You have completed my tutorial.

Let's begin.

Open a new image 750x750 you will resize later.

Choose a paper from your kit (I used paper3) copy and paste as a new layer into your image, apply a mask (layers, load/save mask) then merge the group.

Repeat this using a different paper (I used 2) but the same mask. Mirror this group layer when done merging.

Take a swirl/glitter element from your kit (I used element 26) and resize as needed to suit you paste as a new layer, duplicate and mirror.

Place your tube and position as desired.Add the drop shadow of choice.

Choose elements to suit your tube, and place to achieve the desired effect.

I used elements 14,15,16, 33 & 34. for each I resized 80 and used my deform tool to adjust for my vision.

In some cases you may resize more than once to achive the size you need then use the deform tool to position to adjust and position.

For element 33 duplicate and place one layer under element 34 then on the top layer use your erase tool so the the element "hangs" from element 34.

You may add your dropshadow and gradient glow as desired to your elements.

Resize, add your copyright and your name. You have completed my tutorial.

Animated Tag

If you'd like to animate your tag, go to the swirl layers and duplicate each until you have four layers of each.

On the first layer apply these settings

or those of your liking. Then on each additional layer using the same settings click random seed.

Now x-ing out three of each side copy merged and paste as a new animtion into AS. Repeat this on each of the four layers of both sides.

After the first one you will paste after selected frame in animation shop. You will have four frames.

In animation shop you may adjust the frame properties as desired to either speed or slow your animation.

Check your animation to see if you like it and save.

Let's begin.

Open a new image 750x750 you will re-size later.

Copy and paste two different glitter elements from your kit copy and paste as a new layer into your image.

Choose a paper then copy and paste as a new layer into your tag then apply a mask. merge the group.

Position the glitters to show as you'd like from beneath your mask layer.

Copy and paste as a new layer your glitter frame re-size as needed (I re-sized 35).

Choose a complimentary frame and place above the glitter frame again re-size as needed (I re-sized 35).Add a drop shadow (2,2,70,12).

Using your ribbon or ribbons elements re-sized 20 and copy and paste as a new layer into your tag. Add your drop shadow as desired.

Using your deform tool, Position and place these elements to "wrap " around the frame layer. Duplicate move above the frame layer, and use your erase tool to complete this placement.

Using a close up of your tube colorize, using the colorize tool, to compliment your paper. Above your group mask layer copy and paste the colorized tube as a new layer.

Apply the same mask you used on your paper and merge the group. Go to properties change the blend mode to screen.

You may add a scatter here above this layer using the deform tool to arrange, then adjust the opacity of the level to suit you.

Place a petal element from your kit re-size 50 and use your deform tool to adjust as desired. Add a drop shadow and a gradient glow as desired.

Now position your tube as desired above your petal layer adding your drop shadow and gradient glow to suit your vision.

Choose other elements to suit your vision and re-size 15-20 and position around the elements in place to achieve the results you want.

You may use my tag as a guide if you'd like. I used leaf elements,a swirl, flowers, crystals, water drops and bubbles. Use drops shadow and gradient glow to achieve the desired result.

Now re-size your tag, add your copyright and your name.

Let's get started.

Open a new image, 750x750 you will re-size later.

Choose glitters from your kit I used both from this kit. Copy and paste as new layers until there is glitter scattered all over your image.

Pick a paper from your kit, copy and paste as a new layer into your image.Apply your mask and merge the group.

If you choose you may use white as both colors you may use a flame brush to adjust some extra "flames" around your mask layer.

Place one of the film strips from your kit then using the magic wand tool the inside of each square.Use your deform tool to rotate and position.

Using the tube or tubes of choice and copy and paste as a new layer a close up of your tube into each square inverting and deleting after each (re-invert between each placement).

Select none. Duplicate each close up, and on each use a Gaussian blur of 2 then change the properties to overlay.

On each original layer use the colorize tool to make the tube a color to match your kit.

Now add a drop shadow of choice to your film strip layer.

Choose a ribbon from your kit and place beneath the film strip layer and position as desired add the drop shadow, then duplicate.

Move the duplicate layer above your film strip layer and use your erase tool to "wrap: the ribbon around the strip.

Place a swirl type element above the Mask layer, and you may do the same with others beneath the mask layer. Follow your vision.

Using your flame element place around your film strip for the desired effect. duplicate and re-size by 80 place another by the other side of the strip as well.

Now place your tube or tubes around the flames and film strip as desired.Add a drop shadow and use your erase tool to suit.

Using your lips or "kiss" element and re-size by 50 twice. Add a drop shadow and position as desired. Duplicate and mirror. Reposition the duplicate layer to suit.

Using word art from your kit re-sized as necessary. You may use a drop shadow here as well.

Now re-size, add your copyright and your name.

Let's Begin:

Open a new image 750x750 you will re-size later.

Open a paper from your kit I used paper 10. copy and paste as a new layer into your image, re-size as necessary.

Add a Gaussian blur of 3 (adjust, blur, Gaussian blur). Apply your mask (Layer, load/save mask).

Merge the group (Merge, Merge group).

Choose a frame from your kit (I used Frame/element 10) re-size as needed I re-sized by 50 then by 80. Add a drop shadow of3,3,70,12. You may choose to add a gradient glow to this as well , I didn't.

Pick a glitter from your kit I used element 11 re-size as needed - re-size 80 then duplicate and re-sized 80 again then flip and mirror.

Add a gradient glow with these settings.

Now move these layers beneath your group mask layer.

Just above these layers copy and paste as a new layer a butterfly element from your kit I chose element 15 re-sized by 20 twice.

Add a gradient glow and position around your glitter layer. Duplicate and mirror and position near the other glitter element.

Choose ribbon and string elements re-size as needed I re-sized varying between 60-80, if necessary use your deform tool to achieve the desired effect.

Flip and mirror these elements until you achieve the desired effect then add the same drop shadow as above.

Pick your flower elements re size 20-25 once or twice until you achieve your vision, add a drop shadow and-position.

You may use my tag as a guide, or go your own way... this is about creativity.

Place your tube and both drop shadow and gradient glow. Duplicate and move the duplicate level above the frame level.

Using your erase tool erase any bits to assist in blending your tube well.

Re-size add your copyright and your name you have completed my tutorial.

Let's get started.

Open a new image 750x750. You will re-size later.

copy and paste a paper from your kit I used paper 9. Next apply your mask, Layer, load/save mask. Then merge, Merge group.

Next take the film strip element re-sized 80. Next take the city scene re-sized 90, and place beneath the strip layer.

Go back to the strip layer and using your magic wand tool click within each of the larger squares.

Copy and paste as a new layer a copy of your tube within each square inverting and deleting after arranging each tube within the space.

Now going to each layer use your colorize tool to color the tube each one a different color.

Merge each layer after colorizing all four until they are all on layer, and move this layer beneath the film strip layer, but above the city scene.

Alter the opacity until the city scene is slightly visible. Approximately 76.

Place your main tube as desired.Add a drop shadow and duplicate. on the duplicate layer add a Gaussian blur, go to adjust, blur, Gaussian blur 3.

go to properties and change the blend to overlay.

using the cherry element and lips element re-sized by 50 twice. using your cherry element place on the film strip twice as desired ( you may use my tag as a guide)

then duplicate the element and place a second element to compliment. Now duplicate each of those and move beneath the film strip layer.

going back to the two original layers and using your erase tool erase portions of the elements to "hang" on the strip layer.

Go back to the lips element and place and then duplicate twice and arrange the three elements as desired.Add a drop shadow the elements as desired.

Choosing the elements desired re-size varying between 40 and 70, and using the deform tool as needed begin placing them around your film strip.

Use the deform and erase tools to help position the elements in a desired manner.

If you choose to follow my tag as a guide, to position the shoes free rotate one shoe (re-sized by 50 twice)90 to the right, then using the deform tool rotate more until you achieve the desired affect.

Duplicate, under the duplicate layer place another shoe element re-sized in the same manner between the two rotated elements.

Add any desired drop shadows. With the erase tool erase parts of the duplicated rotated shoe element until it looks partially in front of the upright shoe layer.

For the musical notes place the element above the group mask layer re-sized 80 and duplicate and re-size the duplicate layer 80 again.

On both layers adjust the opacity until the desired effect is achieved.( Approximately 72)

You may open and duplicate your template, closing the original and deleting the credit information.

Choose a paper from your kit, I chose paper 9, copy and paste beneath all of the shapes layers.

Apply your mask of choice, Layers, Load/Save mask, then merge, merge group.

Now copy and paste your star glitter element either element79 or 80 move it beneath the mask layer and duplicate then flip.Adjust as necessary for effect.

Now on your black rectangle go to effects, texture effects, tile You may use your own setting or apply mine

with a color from your tube.

Apply your drop shadow and gradient glow of choice.

Next rotate the Aqua Rectangle layer and rotate 90 using the free rotate. Using your magic wand tool select this rectangle,and flood fill with your gradient of choice Select none.

Add your drop shadow and gradient glow to this layer too.

Next using the heart scatters elements 75 or76 paste as a new layer, use your deform tool to fit into the rectangle area, add a gradient glow, duplicate and flip.

Move the flipped layer to compliment the original layer.

Next above the black star layer use one of the fence stars elements 72,73 or74 and place adding your drop shadow, I used 0,0,70, 10.

Now place the triple stud layer across your horizontal rectangle layer re-size as necessary. duplicate this layer.

Next take one of the Ankh crosses(elements 61, 62 & 63) and place between the two layers.

Going to the duplicate layer of the studs erase areas to make it appear that the ankh is hanging on the stud.

You may also erase the the third stud, unless you decide to place an element. I erased it on both layers.

add your drop shadow to the ankh layer.

Add a heart dangle and "hang" from the second stud in the same manner as the ankh, add your drop shadow.

Next "hang" the spiked ring just above the dangle in the same manner.

Now on the larger circle using your magic wand select the lighter area within the circle, flood fill with a lighter gradient than used on the horizontal rectangle.

Next paste a close up layer of your tube then invert delete select none. Duplicate this layer on the duplicate layer colorize this layer a complimentary color to your tag.

Then adjust, blur, Gaussian blur, 3. go to properties and change the blend mode to overlay. Go back to original layer and change the Blend properties to Luminance (Legacy).

Repeat the selection and placement of the tubes steps with the smaller circle using a different part of your tube, but all the same settings used on the larger circle.

Adjust the Opacity on these layers as desired I adjust all tube layers on the circles to 70.

Now place your tube layer beneath the heart dangle layer and add your drop shadows and duplicate. Move the duplicate layer above the heart dangle layer.

Using your erase tool erase bits of your duplicate tube layer to make it appear as though the hear is "between" the legs of your tube.

Now you may place complimentary elements on your tag. Re-size and use your deform tool as necessary to adjust element size.

add your drop shadow and gradient glows as desired.

As always you may use my tags as a guide, but be as creative as you'd like to suit your tag.

Once you have added your desired elements and adjusted them as necessary, Re-size your tag, add your copyright and your name.

Open a new image 750x750 you will resize later.

Copy and paste a paper choice into your image I used paper2, and apply a mask (Layers, Load/Save mask,)

then Merge the group (merge, merge group).

Next choose a frame from your kit I used bow tie frame, copy and paste above the group layer.

Using the magic wand tool click inside each opening. Modify, expand by 3.

Now choose either another paper or a background (I used the jpg background of my tube) and paste as a new layer,

position as desired and invert and delete. Select none. Move beneath the frame layer.

Go back to the Frame layer and add your drop shadow, I used 0,0,70,10.

Now Place your tube as desired adding a drop shadow and gradient glow as desired.

It is time to select and place your elements.

I started with the butterfly elements and added a drop shadow & gradient glow then duplicated and mirrored.

Move one layer just above the group layer and position around your frame and background layers.

Next I chose the leaf branch element resized 70 using the deform tool and duplicating to fit the needs of the tag.

Repeat this with the pansy vine element. Adding various drop shadows and or Gradient glows to each of the leaf and pansy layers.

Next resize your tag, add your copyright and you name.

Go back to your frame layer and add your drop shadow I used 0,0,80,10 and a gradient glow of choice.

Next you may place your tube as desired adding a drop shadow and a gradient glow.

Now begin placement of your elements, Start with the petals element resized 70, and duplicate and resize as needed and position as desired behind your tube.

Next place the heart scatters elements beneath your tube, or in a complementary position.

Next resize and place a ribbon element, I resized 70 and duplicated and mirror with each element you may add a drop shadow or a gradient glow as desired, or both.

Now resize your lovely element resized (I used 70) as needed use your deform tool achieve the result you desire.

Next you can take your clock element resized 70 and adjust using the deform tool.

Now take the crystal heart element and place above your clock element duplicate mirror and merge down.

Next place the ribbon elements beneath the clock element resize as necessary.

Now resize your tag, add your copyright and your name.

Let's get Started.

Open a new image 750x750.

Copy a paper from your kit I used paper eight and paste as a new layer in your image.

Apply your mask~ click layer, Load/Save mask, Apply.

Merge group~ click merge, merge group.

Next take a frame from your kit, I used frame 2 and resized 70. Add a drop shadow of choice, my choice was2,2,80,12.

Next add a gradient glow using these settings:

Next place your tube under the frame, position as desired,Add your drop shadow and gradient glow as desired; then duplicate and move duplicate level above the frame.

Using your erase tool erase bits of the duplicate tube so the it is positioned as desired to "come out of the frame".

Now it is time to start choosing and positioning your elements the first is the bead string, place beneath your frame, and using the deform tool position as desired.

You may resize if it suits you, but I did not.

For all elements, you may use my tag as a guide, or go your own way, this tutorial simply stimulates creativity.

Next crop your image as to release any "extra" from around the tag.use your erase too to help "fade" the edges of the string.

Add your drop shadow.

Using the bead string again this time resized 60, position as desired above the frame, you may again use your deform tool to arrange it as suits your tag.

Add a drop shadow. Now using the glass heart charm resized 70 twice position as desired on the second bead string.

Duplicate and move original under the string layer, add a drop shadow.

Go back to the duplicate layer and erase small bits so it "floats" on the string.You may repeat these steps with the Diamond lips, Diamond Love & Diamond key.

Resize and use your deform tool as needed to suit your vision. On the original layers of each of the previous elements, in addition to the drop shadow I also added a gradient glow.

Next using the heart string element I placed it above the frame (use my tag as a guide) and added a drop shadow.

Now resize , add your copyright and you name and you have completed this tutorial.

Let's get started!

Open a new image 750x750, you will resize later, I simply like a larger space to work with.

Rather than choosing a paper, we will start with a couple elements. I used Satin flower and strawberry bunch.

Place them as desired in the middle of your image area. You may use as many elements as you'd like.

Once you have an arrangement you like Merge, merge visible, then go to effects, image effects,

seamless tiling.

You may use whatever tiling you prefer, but these are the settings I used.

Once you have your tiled image got to Layer, Load/Save Mask, apply mask. Then Merge, merge group.

Now you may add your tube of choice add a drop shadow of choice, I used 0,0, 100, 12.Then I added a gradient glow with these settings.

Next you may choose elements to enhance your tube/tag, or you may use my tag as a guide.

I placed the sweet element resized 70 and added the same drop shadow & Gradient Glow as my tube.

The next element is a heart frame, positioned to suit your desire.Adding the same effects/filters as before.

Next comes the bag element resized 30. you may add the same effects used previously or simply a drop shadow.

Next layer your star splatter as desired and merge the layers and place under the original group layer.

You may also repeat this with the glitter layer or you may simply place the glitter layer alone under your original group layer.

Now choosing the flower, strawberry and cupcake elements resizes between 12-25 place to suit your tag.

I also resized the laces, a tag and an ornament and placed to compliment the tag.

To help adjust size for placement you may use your deform tool and your erase tool as well.

Now resize, add your copyright and name and you are done.

Now using various gift elements (1.3.6.9) resized at varying rates between 30 and 60. adding a drop shadow to each.

Now on your tube add your drop shadow and a gradient glow of choice, I used 5, 25,100, Opacity 100.

Choose other elements to complement your tube.

I chose the snowflake Charm2, bow1, and several of the ornaments (ornaments resized 30).

Now resize, add your copyright and name.

Let's begin.

Open a new transparent image 825x825, don't worry you will resize.

Now choose a frame from your kit, I chose the Blue Glitter Frame from my kit, resized 75.

Now choose a paper from your kit, I chose paper 6.

Apply your mask to your paper by clicking Layers,Load/Save Mask, apply mask.

Now merge this group by clicking merge, then merge group.

Using your brush tool and a complementary color to your kit and tube click either start points or snow flakes on to your mask layer.

Now place your tube and add the drop shadow of choice I used 3,3,60,12.

Duplicate move down and add Luminance Legacy, Click properties and Luminance Legacy.Add a Gradient Glow.

Go back to original tube layer Duplicate and add a Gaussian Blur of 3 (click Blur Gaussian).

Go to properties and change it to Dissolve as the property.Move beneath the original tube layer.

Go back to your original tube change the property to screen then change transparency of your tube to achieve the level of softness you prefer. I changed mine to 66.

Next choose a ribbon I used ruffled ribbon 2 resized 70.Place to suit your tube.Use add your drop shadow.

I added another layer of Ribbon using Ribbon 3 Resized 75 and placed under the first layer.Add the Dropshadow.

Next Use a swirl or doodle, I used snow flake swirl resized 70, using your deofrm tool rotate until it suits you.

Duplicate, flip and adjust as it suits your needs.

Using your Tree element Resized by 65 place as desired to suit your tag. add a dropshadow and a gradient glow.

Next using Flake 2 resized 20 lace at the tip of your tree element and add a rop shadow.

Next Use a candle from your kit, I chose the deco candle resized 40.

Next using flowers 1,2,& 3 resized 20,25, & 30 as desired arrange and duplicate around the base of your candle.

Add your dropshadow to your flowers as desired.

Now use your Pine resized 30 and place above the ribbon layer to complement the flowers and Candle, duplicate and flip as necessary.

Resize and add your copyright.

Now open your kit and select a paper I chose paper fifteen.

Next merge the mask group,Click Merge,then merge group.

Now Open your tube in this case PFD tubes are large so you may want to resize, choose whichever size you'd like I Chose to resize mine 70.

I added the Lokas 3d with these settings

Then I added a drop shadow 3,3,80,12 black.

Now it is time to choose your elements. You may use my tag as a guide or choose your own.

I started with the String elements I picked elements 27 & 28 and I flipped and Mirrored element 27 and flipped element 28.

Next you may add a drop shadow with the above settings.

Next I used element 14 and added a gradient glow with a color to complement my tube these are my settings. 5, 25, 86 Opacity 85

Next I added element 06 with the drop shadow above.

Next I added stars element 15 above the mask layer.

Next I added the element 59 above the stars layer, if you are using my tag as a guide, adjust the elements to best suit your tube.

Finally I added my word art with a drop shadow 1,1,100,1 then gradient glow same color to complement my tube settings 3,25,86, Opacity 85.

Now resize and add your copyright and name.

Let's begin.

Open a new image 750x750, you will resize later

Choose a paper from your kit, I chose paper 3.

Now apply your mask, by clicking Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load mask from disk. Now Merge, Merge group.

Place your tube of choice right in the middle of the mask layer, you will adjust as you add your elements.

Add a gradient glow of choice, to suit your tag, then add your Lokas 3D Shadow.These are the settings I used.

Next position a ribbon from your kit behind your tube as desired,I used folded Ribbon1 resized 60.

Add a Lokas 3D Shadow, then open your AS EC 5 smoke.

Apply these settings,

or those that suit your vision.

Add a moon element from your kit Resized 50.

Under the tube layer and add a Lokas 3D shadow.

Next create a new raster between the tube layer and the moon layer and choose a color from your moon element and make it your foreground and stroke choice.

Using your cloud brushes as you'd like create a cloud effect to compliment both the moon layer and the tube layer.

You can add a gradient glow with a color from your tube if desired, but it isn't necessary. It does help the cloud layer stand out a bit more though.

Now choose complimentary elements from your kit, and place as desired, You may use my tag as a guide. I used the Blue cushion resized 50,

and the flowers also resized 50, all with the Lokas 3D shadow. Use your erase tool to help with placement of the flowers if you use them.

Duplicate the flower layers and move the duplicate layers to the top and erase those parts you don't want to show, to make a blended effect.

Now if you choose you may add some Smoke to your tube layer if desired, but again not necessary unless it suits your tag.

Now resize, add your copyright information and your name and you will have completed my tutorial.

Scrap Kit of Choice, I used the kit Fallen Angel by CBJ Scraps.

Mask of choice, I used one by Horseplay's Pasture (number 20) which may be found here.

Font of choice, I used Affair (PTU)

Filters used: Lokas 3D, Eyecandy 4000 Gradient Glow.

Animation shop if you'd like to animate.

Let's begin.

Open a new image 750x750, you will resize later.

Next choose a paper from the kit, I used paper 6, copy and paste as a new layer into your image and apply your mask of choice.

Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load mask from disk, ok. Then merge your mask group, click Merge, merge group.

Next choose a glitter or a bling from your kit, I used the Glitter Bling resized 40. Duplicate this layer and flip it then mirror.

Adjust your glitter as desired, or you may use my tag as a guide. Now place your tube add your

Lokas 3D with these settings

and duplicate.

Move the duplicate level beneath the original,and x the original from site for the moment.

Apply the same mask you used on the paper to your tube duplicate,then merge the group this will allow for a beautiful blend where you like it.

Now un x your original tube and using your erase tool, eras those bits that are too harsh to help the blending with the duplicate layer.

Next take a flower from your kit I used the Glittered fabric Rose and added a Gradient glow with these settings,

then add Lokas with the previous settings.

Next using the No Angel element resized 40 and using the manual color corrector change the shade of the element to a complementary color from your tube.

Add your Gradient glow same as before and your Lokas3D or a different drop shadow of choice and position as desired beneath the flower or as desired within your tag.

Now using the beaded string resized 50, place beneath the No Angel and the flower element.

You may use the deform tool to achieve the desired effect, and the erase tool for whatever bits don't suit you.

Next take the key element and add both the gradient glow and the Lokas 3D as desired ( I used the same settings as before).

Position the key beneath the flower, but above the string layer and position as desired, again you may use my tag as a reference if you'd like.

Now take a butterfly element and position as desired adding the gradient glow as before.

Resize, add your copyright and your name and you have completed this tutorial.

If you'd like to add some subtle animation you may continue.

Now x out all the layers except your Beaded String, No Angel Element, key element, Glittered rose and the butterfly elements.

Now merge visible and duplicate the merged layer three times.

Using your magic wand tool go to the first layer and click around the roses glittered edges do as much or as little as you'd like.

Next go to the Adjust, Add/Remove Noise, Add noise. Set your noise to Random, and adjust the percentage to 40%.

It should look like this:

Repeat this with each layer but changing the noise percentage on each layer, one layer to 60% and one layer to 80%.

Now x out 2 of the three layers, and coy merged and place as a new animation in Animation shop. Now repeat this with each layer, pasting after current frame until you have three frames.

check your animation to make sure it looks the way you'd like and save.

On the road to recovery...

It has been an eventful few weeks. First I sprain my hip and am bed ridden for a week.... and no I don't know how I did that. Then while recovering from that injury I start to cough. I've been diagnosed with Bronchitis, and down with that now for 2 weeks. I have no energy and have barely been able to care for my family, let alone do anything on the computer. I'm trying to get caught up now so I can get some tutorials written and posted. I'm looking forward to feeling better and getting that done. I was missing posting here so I wanted to keep everyone updated. Blessed be.

Let's begin:

Open a new Image 750x750, you may resize later.

Copy and paste as a new layer a paper from your kit. I chose paper 12, choose one that will compliment your tube.

Apply your mask, Layers, Load/Save mask then merge the group, (merge, merge group).

Next I used the chaise lounge from my kit and resized 50 added the Lokas 3D for a drop shadow,with these settings

if you don't have this filter you could simply use your drop shadow and play with the settings.

Next I used fabric drape resized 50 and used free rotate to the right 5 then added Lokas.

Now to help set the tone for my tag I used the purple boa, and resized 60 rotated to the right 5 then added Lokas, then duplicated this layer and moved the original under the chaise lounge layer.

Now using the erase tool to erase parts of the duplicated layer to make the boa look draped over your fabric and your chaise.

Next place your tube as desired for the tone of your tag, add your Lokas or drop shadow.

Now take the money layer resize 40 and place between the chaise layer and the fabric layers of your tag.

Position this layer as desired and add a gradient glow in a complimentary tone from your tube or your kit, with these settings.

Now take elements of your choice and resize between 40-60 as needed to suite your tag, or you may use my tag as a guide.

I used the condom resized 40, the cigarettes resized 40, and the champagne resized 60 to the cigarettes and the condom I added the Lokas, and to the champagne I added gradient glow with the above settings then Lokas.

Next I took the Burlesque shape and resized 50 and added the same gradient glow.

The Present is next, resized 20 then used the deformed tool to fit into the tag again I added the gradient glow then the Lokas.

Next I used the Burlesque lips2 resized 50 twice then used my erase tool to make a lipstick smear on the champagne.

The Pink Burlesque bottle is the next element resized 50 twice then 70 gradient glow added then Lokas then transparency adjusted to 80.

Finally I added the Bracelet resized 35 and rotated to the right 10.

Now resize and ad your copyright. Add your name and You are done.

Open a new image 750x750, you will resize later.

Choose a paper from your kit I chose paper17 apply your mask, Layers, Load/Save mask, then merge, merge group.

Next I chose window 4 resized 70 I added Lokas 3D shadow with these settings.

You may also use the deform tool to help achieve the desired result.

Now I used the Letter from Heaven2 bird resized 25 with the same settings for loka.

Now using Ribbon 5 I resized 50 and used the manual color correction tool to match a lighter purple in element Book2 which will be placed next.

Position books 2 as desired resize 70 and apply Lokas.No resize Deco 8 apply Lokas and position as desired.

Now using hearts5 resized 60 place. You may place your tube or tubes now.I added Lokas with these settings.

I rearranged my elements to suit my tubes at this point.Positioning many of the elements beneath my tubes to compliment.

I duplicated the ribbon layer and move the duplicate layer above the letter/bird layer and used my erase tool to help blend together.

Now resize and add your copyright. Add your name and you have completed my tutorial.

Let's begin!

Open a new image 750x750, you will resize later.

Copy and paste a paper of choice into your image I used paper 8.

Apply a mask to your paper, Layers, Load/Save mask, then merge, merge group.

Next copy and paste your tube as a new layer and adjust your size as needed to fit your tag, add your drop shadow of choice, I used 3,3,65,6 color black.

Duplicate this layer and close the duplicate. on the original tube layer apply the same mask you used for your tag, using the same steps as above.

Next reopen your duplicate layer, and using your erase tool erase the lower bits of your tube to fit the blend made by the masked tube layer.

Now it is time for elements. Choose elements that compliment your tube and that suit you, or you may use my tag as a template.

The first element I chose was the lace heart resized 20, add a drop shadow and a gradient glow if desired.I used thin, 3,25,100.

When placing elements don't forget that your erase tool helps work elements into your tag. so for the lace heart erase bits of the element to blend with your tube.

Next I chose the Book element,resize 40 with the same drop shadow as above.

Next I chose the Goblet resized 30 and applied the drop shadow and a gradient glow.

Next I used the dragon bowl resized 35, and used Lokas 3D on it for the shadow with these settings.

Again you may use whichever elements from your chosen kit and place as you desire, this is about creativity.

Next I resized the Gargoyle 60 and used Lokas again with the same settings.

Next I used Rose2 resized 15 and applied Lokas again with the Gradient glow from above.

Now I take the ribbon element and resize 35 and place to compliment my other elements adding the Lokas and the gradient glow.

I duplicate this layer and use the duplicate to compliment my gargoyle as well.

Next take the SinnerSaint Cherry and resize to compliment your tag, also using the deform tool so it fits as you desire.

Repeat these steps with the Jesterskull.

Finally I added the building element and placed just above the mask layer with the Lokas and Gradient glow filters applies.

Now resize and add your copyright. Add your name and you are done!!

Let's get started

Open a new image 750x750, don't worry you can re-size later.

Choose a glitter from your kit I chose the white to start, copy and paste into your image as a new layer.

Next chose a different color glitter from your kit resize 80. Now copy and paste a paper from your kit I chose paper10.

Now you apply your mask, click layer Load/Save mask then apply. Now go to merge, merge group.

Next take your close up tube and copy and paste as a new layer apply the same mask to the tube just as before.

now you will adjust your settings on your close up to fit against your primary mask layer I changed opacity to 90.

Now duplicate this layer twice if you plan to animate.

Now you place your full tube and position as you like to compliment your closeup add the drop shadow of your choice I used 3,3,60,13.Duplicate this layer.

Take your Doodle edge2 and place between the two tube layers Add a gradient glow of your choice, I used 3,25,100, (Thin). .Use your Deform tool to adjust as you need for size.

Using your erase tool erase which ever parts of the duplicated layer to suit your desire to enhance your tube.

Next take the light ribbon and resize 80 then use your deform tool to position as you'd like to compliment your tube.

Or you can use my tag as a reference.Add your drop shadow to each comig layer, I used the same as above.

Now take your clock and resize 70 position as desired, add your drop shadow.

Now take the heart ribbon and use the deform tool to position around your clock add your drop shadow and a gradient glow.Duplicate this level.

Move the original heart ribbon under your clock layer, now on your duplicated layer use your erase tool to make the ribbon wrap around the clock.

Now take both your paper roses and resize 50 and use the deform tool to adjust to your vision.You may if you like add a gradient glow, I didn't.

Again you may use my tag as a reference if you desire.

Repeat these steps with the Light heart and the White flower.

Resize, add your copyright. if you are not going to animate add your name and you have completed my Tutorial.

Animation:

Go to your close-up group layer open HBS Noise apply these settings.

Now repeat this on each duplicate layer hitting random seed on each layer.

Close off each duplicated layer Copy merged (Shift+ctrl+c) and paste as a new animation (Ctrl+V)into animation shop.

Close the close up group layer open the first duplicated layer Copy merged again and place after current frame (Ctrl+Shift+L), repeat this with the second duplicated layer.

Go back to PSP add your name and whichever filters you'd like copy, go back to AS and paste as a new animation and make 3 frames with it. select all, copy. go to your tag animation select all

paste into current frame and position as desired. Check your animation and save.

Next take some glitter elements and place under your shaped paper. Position as desired or use my tag as a template.

Now use your splashes from your kit and place beneath your tube to suit the idea of your tag.

Next open your lifesavers element and choose as many as desired for effect in your tag, add a drop shadow if desired.

Next choose the sunglasses element and choose your color and place to compliment your tag.

Place the signpost resize 50 under the glasses layer and add your desired drop shadow, I used the same drop shadow as on my tube for both glasses and sign post.

Now choose some word art from your kit and place adding a gradient glow to suit your vision.

Now resize, add your copyright, add your name and you are done.

Let's begin.

Open an image 705x750 don't worry you will re-size later.

Choose a paper from your kit I chose paper 6 copy and paste into your image then go to Layers, Load/Save Mask, then merge, merge group.

Next I chose one of the triple frames (as73) and re-size by 120 then free rotate to the left 25.0.Now add the drop shadow of your choice, I used 5,5,65,15.

Now add your tube as desired or you may use my tags as an example.You may add your drop shadow as desired (I used 4,4,65,14) then duplicate to adjust around your frame.

Move your tube layer under the frame then click on your duplicated layer and use your erase tool to suit your needs.Next place you grass layer(as49) re-size 90 and add a drop shadow, I used 3,3,60,12.

Duplicate this layer as well moving one under your frame and original tube layer, erase bits of the top layer of as49.Repeat this with a ribbon (as30).

Next choose some flower elements I chose as90 re-size 80, then as127 re-size 80 then duplicated and re-size 70 and duplicated again, each layer with a drop shadow of 3,3,60,12.

Position your flower layers as desired and duplicate and re-size as desired to suit your tag.

Next choose another ribbon layer I chose as99 re-size 70 and drop shadow same as above. Now duplicate and erase areas in order to surround your flowers as desired, using the erase tool and instructions as above.

Add a heart element as110 with a drop shadow of 3,3,60,12.

Next I chose a dragon fly element as122 re-size 40, and added the last drop shadow to this element too.

Next using butterfly as44 re-size 50 and drop shadowed with the last setting.

Finally add sparkles (as120) just above your group layer and duplicate to position both layers as desired.

Now re-size, add your copyright, add your name and you are done.

Open a new image 750x750, don't worry you will resize later.

Choose a paper from your kit copy and paste into your image.Click on Layers, then Click on Load/Save mask. then click merge, merge group.

Next start choosing elements from your scrap-kit. I started with glitter 5 and placed behind my mask/group layer.

Now I place wire 2 between the mask/group layer and the glitter layer.

next I took the pink and the purple doodle layers and placed over my wire layer and adjusted to my liking, then mirroring one then flipping it.

Next I chose winged heart one and two and resized them 30. Place elements into position to your vision or you may use my tag as a guide.

Add a drop shadow of 3,3,65,12 to each element, then a gradient glow of your choice to compliment your tag. (I used settings 5,25,100, thin),

Next I resized the boom box & purple boots 40, and the 3 of the lips 25, 2 of the skulls 25 and placed. Choose colors that compliment your tube.

You can place your tube now or at any time to help with element placement.

Next resize the hat 25 and place to suit you or you can use my tag as a guide.to rotate the hat on an angle use free rotate to the right25.

Next the metal flowers & skulls are resized 20 and adjusted. add the drop shadow and gradient glow as desired, you may even like to vary the shadow and glow used.

You may place some of the word art from your kit if you feel it works for your tube.

Now resize, add your copyright, add your name and you are done.

Let's begin:

Open a new image 750x750, don't worry you will resize later.

Usually we would pick a paper and go from there, but this time we are going to start with a kit element. I started with the Tag back element from this kit and resize 115.

If you would rather use a paper with a mask this would be great too. Just add your paper and apply your mask using layer then load save mask.

Now is the really fun part of choosing elements from your kit.I decided to add the Splatter element underneath my tag back layer,arrange as desired.

I duplicated this layer twice mirroring one layer and flipping the other. Adjust as you desire or you may use my tag as a guideline, this stand for any element I use.

Next I placed my tube, Adjust if needed to fit your tag theme, go to adjust, Hue and Saturation, Hue map and adjust lightness or saturation as desired.

Next I added a drop shadow 3,3,75,12 then a gradient glow 5,25,100 thin and a color from your tube or your kit that compliments the tag.

Next I added the Ribbon 1 resized 50 element under my tube layer adding the same drop shadow as before as well as the same gradient glow.

Next duplicate this layer and mirror as desired to fit your tag. Adjust the elements as desired.

Next I added the cross and resized 25, above my ribbon layer, but again use the elements you like and resize to fit your tag.

Now add the crow and skull element resized 30 mirror and add your same drop shadow and gradient glow.

Next add the rose layer adding the same filters as listed.Duplicate and mirror to suit your tag.

Now resize the key 25 and place as desired to compliment your tag and add the same filters.

Now resize the spider 15 and the rat resized 20 and place as desired with the same filters.

Now resize, add your copyright, your name and you are done.

I've been trying to get on here to post something on here for my few followers. I'm sorry that I have not posted any new tuts or freebies in a bit. I've been really busy with real life this summer. My kids have kept me busy along with school. I'm hoping to get something out to you all this week.

Let's get started! This is a simple tag but I liked the way it came out.

First open a new image 750x750 (you will resize later).

copy and paste as a new layer a paper from your kit I chose paper18.

Next apply your mask. Layers, load/save mask, Merge, merge group.

Now choose the elements you'd like to use from your kit I chose element's 68 and 6.

I placed element 6 and used gradient glow with settings 6.78,25,100 with a complimentary color from my tube.

Next I placed my tube and applied a drop shadow of 3,3,70,13 then added a gradient glow with the above settings.

Duplicate your tube and move a copy below your frame (element6). Next using your erase tool erase the top layer around your frame to compliment your tube.

Next you resize your word art to compliment your tag I resized mine 25. then using your manual color correct tool and your magic want to color your word art as desired.

Place your wordart as desired to compliment your tag. Next add whatever elements you desire I used element 68 and added a drop shadow as above and the same gradient glow.

Now you may add your copyright and resize. Add your name and you have completed my tutorial.

Now start choosing elements from your kit to compliment your creativity, or you may use my choices as a guide.

I picked the butterflies resized 25 to start I added a drop shadow of 3,3,80,12 then the same gradient glow.

Next I chose flowers and dragonflies and applied the same settings.

The next element is a ribbon from the kit that you position in the manner that best suits your tag.

Let's get started...

Open a new image 750x750 (don't worry you will resize later)

Next choose a paper from your kit I chose Paper03. Next click layer, load/save mask and apply your mask.

Merge, merge group. Next I chose the pink glitter spats and placed beneath my group layer twice, one layer resized 125.

Next the Cream glitter swirl frame goes above the group layer resized 140.Opacity adjusted to 60.

Now the Pink string frame is placed and resized 115. Then I adjusted the hue to match the splatter.

Next I added a drop shadow of 3,3,70,13 (Oh and I added this drop shadow to the glitter platters too).

Now place your tube as desired. I added the same drop shadow as above then duplicated and moved a copy under the

string frame. Then on the original tube layer. I used the erase tool to make small adjustments so it fit my frame better.

Next I resized the key and the pink wrap tear paper by 25 and rotated the tear paper and adjust the hue a bit to fit the splatter.

I added some of the word art also resized 25 and added a drop shadow to the paper and the key and rotated the key using free rotate.

On the copy layer I used the gradient glow with a complimentary color to the elements with the diffuse and settings 6.77, 25, 100.

You may add other elements to compliment your tag, those are up to your discretion.

Now you resize and add your copyright, and you are done. Oh and add your name.

Just posted a new tutorial, but I wanted to let you all know why I've been MIA. Back in February we ha a terribly and unexpected loss to our family. My 34 year old brother in law passed away in his sleep. We have been devastated. For many months it has been all I could to to hold my family together and still be sane. We still have struggles, but I'd rather be here making tags and tuts to keep from being depressed and moody. I didn't meant to just disappear but like I said it was quite sudden. Thank you for understanding and being patient while I get it back together.

Lets begin.

Material you will need are:

Scrap Kit of Choice: I used All American Cook Out by Stacey's Design

Mask of choice: I used 221 from Insatiable Dream

Font of choice: I used Kingthings Willow

Open a new image 750x750, you will resize later.

Flood fill with a color from your scrap kit. Click layer load/save mask and apply your mask. Merge merge group.

open a new raster layer flood fill with another color from your kit and repeat the steps above then image resize unclick resize all layers

and resize the layer 60. Repeat this step with another color from your kit and resize 40.

Now start choosing your elements from your kit. I chose the picnic table and the lounge chair resized 80 and added a drop shadow of 3,3,100,13.

You should resize according to your preference and placement of elements. Next I chose the grill resized 80 as well I duplicated this and put the same drop shadow on the copied layer.

I move this layer beneath then placed a background of my tube and the tube above each layer with the tube being on top of the original grill layer. Using my erase tube I erased what I didn't want from my background art.

Next I used the erase tub on the original grill layer to fit my tag.

On my tube I added the 3,3,100,13 drop shadow. Next I added the triple frame using the magic want tool select inside each of the frames and then create new layer flood fill with color of choice then invert and delete. move this layer beneath your frame layer.

now invert again and repeat the process using various tube from your artist inverting and deleting each time and re-inverting after each tube. Let's get started.

Open your new image 750x750 you may resize later.

Choose a frame from your kit, I chose the string frame.If you choose a frame similar to mine then alternate papers from your kit.

Click inside the area of the frame desired using your magic wand tool copy and paste your papers as a new layer.

Invert, delete, invert if you want to use another paper or select none if you are done I chose papers 1 & 2.

Move the paper layer or layers under your frame layer, and add a drop shadow to your frame, 2,2,80,12.

Now add your tube as desired to suit you add a drop shadow and gradient glow as desired.

Now I chose both fairy dus from my kit and i placed them under the paper layer and added a gradient glow with the settings 3,25,70, thin, #ffffff, 100

Next I chose the sun and moon element resized 70 and placed under my frame layer. Add a drop shadow 1,1,80,1

then a gradient glow with the settings above, but a complimentary color from your paper.

Now using the green and purple swirls I placed under the frame and played with them once happy with your placement add a drop shadow 3,3,80,13.

Fuzzy dice element resized 50 then 70 are next place as fits the tag then add you drop shadow same as the swirls.

Now using your skull chain resize 80 place under the dice layer and using your erase tool delete any of the dice sting not necessary.

Add a drop shadow of 3,3,100,15 to the skull chain with a gradient glow color from your tube.(Same settings as above)

Now copy and paste as a new layer your winged heart element resized 50 twice. add a drop shadow and place as desired.

you may chose to add a gradient glow or not it is simple preference.

Now it's time to resize the tag and add your copyright and name.

Let's begin.

Open a new image 750x750 you may resize later.

Now choose a splat or glitter from your kit, I chose the glitter element form mine resize 125.

Next I chose the mesh element from my kit, but if you'd like you could choose a paper and add a mask,

then merge group and adjust as desired over the glitter layer.

Free rotate the mesh layer to the right 45 or as desired to suit your vision.

Now choose a frame for your tag, I chose frame 5. Click inside of the frame using your magic wand tool.

Choose a paper from your kit copy and paste as a new layer, invert, delete, invert again.

Move the paper layer under your frame layer, and add a drop shadow of choice to your frame layer (3,3,90,13).

Now you can copy and paste your tube or tubes of choice within the frame, inverting and deleting as needed.

Next add a drop shadow of choice to your tube or tubes( same as above). I then merged down the layers together to make moving anything easier, but it isn't necessary.

Now I added another tube above yet behind the frame layer and the merged tube and paper layer. I added the same drop shadow as well.

Now is time to play with your elements... you choose elements that are fun and compliment your tag.

I used string, hearts, and stars resized as needed. Be creative and try something new, or you could use my tag as a guide.

Add your copyright, resize and add your name.

Choose a paper from your kit I chose school paper copy & paste as a new layer into your image, resize20.

Now go to effects, image effects, page curl choose the first corner you want to work with and apply these settings:

Now repeat as desired.You may go your own way or use my tag as a guide.

Now using your erase tool choose a brush that will give you a somewhat jagged edge and using a large size of choice

Erase the other edges of your paper. Add a drop shadow of choice, I used 2,2,100,2.

Now you may choose your elements to suit your tag. I simply made random choices and resized between 10-25 depending placement.

Feel free to use my tag as a guide, but play and have fun use your free rotate tool for placement help.

Add some glitters under your paper layer and you can adjust as needed.

Resize and add your copyright and your name.

Lets begin.

Open a new image 750x750 you will resize later

Copy and paste a paper from your kit as a new layer I chose paper 4, now apply Graphics Plus filter Kaleidoscope

with these settings(or those of your choice):

Now using your erase tool with the shape of your choice go around the edges of your paper creating the shape desired.

Now using the Pinwheel filter on Graphics Plus with the settings of your choice or you may use these:

Next I used the BeMine element resized 90 with a drop shadow 3,3,100,15.

Now I used the double Heart frame with a drop shadow 1,1,100,1 and the gradient glow settings 3,25,80,thin, 100 in whatever color compliments your tube and tag.

Now using your magic wand tool click inside each heart of the frame and then click, selections, modify, expand by 3.

Copy and paste as a new layer a paper of choice from your kit I chose paper 12, Invert, delete, invert.

Now You need to take and paste as new layers the tubes of your choice adjust as desired within the frames and repeat the above invert, delete steps as needed.

Now you will move these layers under your frame layer and add the drop shadows of choice, I also added a gradient glow as well.

Now I placed my tube adjusting as desired to fit my elements, this will depend on your tube.Add a drop shadow of choice.

I added the frog princess element with a drop shadow 2,2,80,12

Next I placed doodle one with a drop shadow of 2,2,60,15 behind the adjusted paper layer then duplicate, flip and mirror

Now resize, add your copyright and your name.

Scrap kit of choice I used a free kit by Angels Dreamz called ~ Sweet and Frosty Wintertime~

Let's begin:

Open a new image 800x800, you will resize later.

Choose one of the Wire (My choice was 39) elements resized.150

Choose a frame from your kit I chose Frame 6 resize 125.Add a drop shadow of choice, I used 2,2,80,12

Now choose another frame from your kit I chose Frame 7.

Using your magic wand click in the inside of your second frame.Click selections, modify, expand 3.

Now copy and paste the paper of choice I used paper 4 invert selection, delete, select none.

Go back to Frame 7 layer and add the above drop shadow.

Now for more elements I used elements 49 & 50 (snowflakes) resized 30,60,70 & 80 varying between the resizing one different layers

Once you have placed the snowflake elements, merge down until they are all on one layer, now you may add a gradient glow of choice.

Now you choose your tube and place as desired. Add your drop shadow & gradient glow to suit your tube.

Now resize, add your copyright and you name.

Now copy and paste your tubes in the frames, you may resize or use the deform tool to fit your tube within your frame.

Move the tube under the frame layer. Add a drop shadow, I used 2,2,90,13.

Next place a few elements from your kit. I chose doodle 4 & flower 16. Place as desired beneath the paper layers above the group raster.

Add the drop shadow & gradient glow of choice. next resize 40 the flowers and place as desired, using the flip and mirror tools to help place the elements.

Again you will add the drop shadow and gradient glow of choice.

Now you will resize and add your copyright.

Add your name and you have completed this tutorial.

Let's get started.

Open a new image 750x750, you will resize later.Duplicate this layer.

Copy and paste a paper from your kit, I chose paper 4. Apply your mask, click layer, load/save mask, then merge, merge group.

Now copy and paste your tube,add your drop shadow if desired, duplicate. go to the original tube apply the same mask you used on your paper following the same steps, don't forget to merge the group.

Click on the copy of your tube, which is not in the masked layer. using your erase tool erase around the blunt edges of your tube to soften as desired.

Now to add elements to your tag. I chose heart3&4 copy and place heart 4 as a new layer resize 30, using free rotate to the right 25 duplicate this layer.

mirror the copy layer place heart three resized 30 and adjust as desired. Add a gradient glow as desired varying sizes I used different settings of the pride setting as suits the tag.

Bring the copy of your first mask layer above all three of these layers adjust opacity 50, and using the adjust, hue & saturation lighten this layer slightly.

Next I used elements Butterfly 4&5 resized 30&20 respectively. Next I used dragonfly 1 resized 30, using the rotate tool place the elements as desired or

you may use my tag as a guide.if desired you may add a drop shadow to these layers.

Next place string 1 as desired and add drop shadow of choice I used 2,2,80,15.then add gradient glow of choice.

duplicate and mirror.

Now place doodle and using the deform tool on perspective setting to adjust the doodle as desired.add a varied gradient glow

Next place scatter of your choice using deform tool on perspective to adjust. add a gradient glow

copy and paste a paper of your choice into your image I used paper 10.

Next you will apply a mask click on layers, then load/save mask, then click on merge, then merge group.

Next copy and paste the next paper of choice I used paper 4 now copy apply your second mask to the paper layer as above.

Now depending on your tube you may now paste a copy of your tube before you merge the group which is what I did,

If you chose to do this make sure your tube is under the mask layer position as desired then click merge, merge group.

Now it is time for placement of your elements:You may chose to go your own way here or use my tag as a guide.

I chose the flowers first copy and paste your flower as a new layer into your tag,I started with Choc/mint resized 80

I added a drop shadow of 2,2,100,15 then duplicate resize your copy layer by 50 position both to compliment your tube mask layer,

repeat the process with the mint choc flower resized 70, duplicate this flower then resize 40 and duplicate again.

Next I choose the paper clips and resized 60 place on the center of the flowers resizing as a desired, use the erase tool to erase

the clip portion of the paper clips as desired. Again you may use my tag as a guide. Repeat these steps with the other clip resizing as needed.

next I chose the strings added a drop shadow of 2,2,60,15 place as desired.You may duplicate and use the erase tool to compliment the placement within your flowers.

Now resize and add your copyright and you name and you will have completed my tutorial.

Open a new image 775x775 you will resize later.

Choose a paper from your kit I chose paper 12 copy and paste into your image as a new layer.

Now apply your mask layers, load/save masks, next click merge, Merge group. Now choose one or two frames from your kit, I used double frame and Frame inside of frame.

Position your frames as desired click on the inside of your frames using your wand tool click selections, modify and expand by three now paste as a new layer Your papers of choice I used papers 11 and 13.

Invert then delete, select none. Repeat the selection process with placement of your tubes and position as desired.

You may now add a drop shadow of choice, I used 2,2,100,15. Move your tube layer under your frame but above your paper. You may repeat these steps as often as needed depending on the type of frame you've used.

Do not apply the drop shadow until you've placed all of your tube layers as not to distort the manner in which the is cut when you invert and delete.

You may now add elements as desired I used ticket 1 resized 50 then I used the distort tool to rotate and position as desired. next I used the erase tool to modify the element to work with my frame.

Next I used heart wings free rotate 15 and a drop shadow of 2,2,100,15

Next I chose heart strings resized 80 moved and position under heart wings add same drop shadow as above.

You may add any elements you'd like or you can resize and add your copyright information and your name and be done.

Now place your tube adding a drop shadow of 5,5,90,12. Next add a gradient glow.

Now begin placing your elements I chose spooky eyes first resized 50 place as you choose or you may use my tag as a guide.

Next the orange stars placed beneath the mask group layer. duplicate and rotate as desired for effect.

Next the cauldron and tree2 both resized 50 and given a gradient glow to compliment your paper.

Finally the spider resized 80. Also given a gradient glow to suit the layer.

Animation:

If you'd like to animate duplicate the spooky eyes layer 4 times
apply corona changing choose settings that suit you one each layer being sure to change the random seed on each layer. I changed the settings each time
I changed the layer in addition to the random seed. Play with the settings to find what you like.

Don't forget to move the paper layer under your frame.

Now place your tube of choice into a position you like and add the mask of choice (if desired). Add a drop shadow I used 5,5,90,12

Now chose ribbons from your kit and use the deform tube to adjust to suit you, I chose ribbons 8, 10, 11, and 12
Position behind the paper and Frame layers to suit you.
Next add a clip (or any other element that you choose) I used clip one and added under the paper layer and positioned around the frame. Next I duplicated
the clip and adjusted on the other side of the frame for balance.

Now resize and add your copyright information.

Add your name

effects and texture effects fine leather Adjust the color to compliment your tube and adjust the settings to your liking.
I chose Angle 270, Blur 0, Transparency 255, Number of Furrows 649, and length of furrows 2. Place behind your tube.

Next using your wand tool click in the circles to select copy and paste as a new layer either a close up of your tube or different parts of your tube invert and delete repeat for each circle, then place under the circles.
Adjust transparency and change the properties to luminance legacy to suit yourself.

Next I chose Element 14, then element 21 both as is. Then I resized elements 24, 28, and 8 resized 40. Place all of the elements in any manner you choose, with a drop shadow of 3,3,100,12.
You may use my tag for a reference if you like.

Finally I choose elements 52 and 53 and placed just above the mask layer mirroring as needed.

Now resize and add your copyright information then your name and you have completed my tutorial.

Next copy and paste another paper from your kit I chose paper24, mask,
click on layers, load/save mask, and apply your second mask, merge, merger group.

Now choose a complimentary frame from your kit in this case I chose element48, now select all,
float, defloat, modify, expand 7 and copy a third paper as a new layer into your tag, I chose paper4.
invert your selection, delete, and select none. Move this paper below your frame layer.
I added a drop shadow to the frame layer of 3,3,100,10.

Now it is time for tube placement place tube between the 3rd paper layer and the frame,
adjust and erase as necessary or repeat the above process to suit your needs.
I added a drop shadow to my tube of 1,1,80,12. Duplicate tube layer
on your copy layer go to adjust, blur, Gaussian blur of 3, now click on properties
and change the blend mode to soft light.

It is element time!

I started with element 83 free rotated 10 to left, drop shadow 1,1,80,12.
Now duplicate this layer and adjust behind the first layer as desired, I used free rotate 23, and adjusted as needed
duplicate the copy moving this layer above the original layer and erase where needed to blend.

I added element 8 and re-sized by 25 then used the deform tool to adjust further as I needed.

Next I used elements 52, and 68 re-sized 25, drop shadow same as above and added a drop shadow to each layer of 1,1,80,12.
then I added a gradient glow in a complimentary color with a 3,80,90. then I used a thin white gradient glow with the same settings.

Next I repeated the above steps with element 70 re-sized 40.

Finally I added elements 72, and 77 added a drop shadow of 1,1,80,12

I then merged the layers and added a drop shadow of 3,3,80,12.0

I chose the gotharch next resized 40 I placed behind the tube and candles layer
and added a Gaussian Blur (click Adjust, Blur, Gaussian blur) of 1.00 to soften.

I next chose rose4 and I resized using the deform tool and also used that to rotate into position.

Then I took both dead roses and resized using the deform tool again to resize and rotate into position.
I added a drop shadow of 2,2,80,12.0

Next I chose the candle resized 20 and positioned behind my tube layer.
I added a drop shadow of 1,1,80,12.0

Then I resized bottle 1 & 3 40 I used the deform tool to position and size as desired.
I also colorized bottle three to suit my purposes.

Finally I used glidder2 over the mask layer and reduced the opacity to 60.

Now you add your copyright and you name and you have completed my tutorial.

I made a scrap kit. Well a mini one any way... I've been wanting to try my hand at scrap making and here is my first result. I'm giving it to you here as a freebie... I hope you enjoy it. Let me know you downloaded and feel free to share your results so I can post them.

This tutorial is written for those with a working knowledge of PSP.
I used version 9 but any should work.

Supplies needed:
Tube of choice I chose the work of ©Keith Garvey you may purchase a license to use his art at MPT.
Scrap kit of choice I used Sugarbaby by ChaneyJo's Creations.
Template of choice I used #168 from Blissfully Beth
Mask of choice (Optional) I used #227 from Vix
Eye Candy 4000~Gradient Glow
Font of choice I chose Mon Amour Script which is a pay to use font.

Open up your template shift D to duplicate then close the original.

On the background layer, if you want to keep it, shift H to adjust and colorize to match your kit or your tube.
Then if you'd like you may add your mask (Layers, Load/Save mask) You may have to re-size some depending on your mask (I re-sized that layer 130)

Next add some sparkles from your kit. I used sparkles2.Re-sized 130.

Now click on the PBG layer of your template select all, float, defloat, then copy and past a paper from your kit I used paper9.
Then invert and delete select none. You may either delete the original layer or merge down (I merge down)
Repeat this with the Gray half oval layer with a different paper, I used paper2.

Now repeat the process with the purple half oval layer. I used paper14
I repeated the process with the Dark oval layer as well, except here I copied merged the confetti2 element.

Repeat the process for the Lt & Rt SQ BG Using paper8

On the white oval frame I added a drop shadow of 1,1,100,1 and -1,-1,100,1

On the black stripes and the Rt & LT Squares I added a gradient glow settings 5, 20, 80, with a complementary color from my pallet.

Now you may place your tube as you like.

You may colorize your word art or use one from your kit, arrange as it suits your tube.

I used light flare 1 first to highlight my tube. Then Glitter swirl4 and Glitter swirl2 then Stardangle1 You may reference my tag for placement if desired.
I used heartlock 3 re-sized 25. Duplicate and rotate until you get the effect you like'

Now add your copyright, re-size, then add your name and you have completed my tutorial.

OK lets begin

Open a new image 750x750
choose a paper from your kit I chose Paper 5 copy and paste as a new layer into your image
click on layers load/save mask, merge group
choose another paper I chose paper 4 copy and paste into image click layers Load/Save Mask
merge group, then click image, re-size, un-check re-size all layers and re-size the layer 90

Next I added the purple doodle and duplicate layer then mirror

Now place your tube and add a drop shadow of choice I used 2,2,100,12.00

Next I arrange the flower swag and duplicated Move the second layer up and using the erase tool erase any flower parts
around your tube to your liking

Now you can place your Word art as you like it

Next I added the Tranquility hanging heart with a drop shadow of 2,2,100,12.00

Now choose a butterfly I chose Butterfly 1 and added the same drop shadow

Now add your copyright and your name then re-size and you have completed my tutorial.

Let's get started

Open a new image 750X750 (you will re-size later)

copy and paste one of the kit papers into your image I chose paper 9.
Now go to layers, Load/save mask and choose and apply your mask then merge, merge group

Next choose your first element I chose Pink VW2 I added a drop shadow of 2,2,100,2

Next I chose the Peace word are re-sized 60, then used free rotate to the left 25.00
then I added a drop shadow of 2,2,100,2

Next I chose the doodle and re-sized 60 and placed and arranged several (5) layers you can use my tag as a reference
then I added a drop shadow of , 3,3,100,12

Next I re-sized the Groovy word art and used the deform tool to place and rotate it I added a drop shadow of 2, 2, 100,2
then another drop shadow of 3,3,100,12.0

Next I re-sized the love word art 60 free rotated to the left 25 and used a drop shadow of 2,2,100,5

Finally You place one of the heart elements add a drop shadow of 3,3,100,11.0

Now place your tube add a drop shadow of 2, 2, 100, 2 then add a drop shadow of 3,3,100,12.0

Add your copyright, re-size and add your name you have completed this tutorial.

Plug-in Filter: Eye Candy 4000 gradient glow (Alien Skin)

Let's get started:

Open a new image 750x750 (you will re-size later)

Chose colors from your kit and flood fill in the new image. Go to Layer, Load/Save Mask and apply your mask
now merge, merge group then go to image and re-size that layer 115
add a new raster flood fill with a different color from your kit, apply the same mask,layers, Load/Save mask. Merge, Merge group

Next I choose the wire and re-sized 125 and copied and pasted into my new image.
Position underneath both layers.

Next go to the larger mask layer and select all float and de-float copy and paste your close up over you mask position as desired invert, delete, select none
now you will move the transparency to 50. Make sure that the close up layer is above both masks and wire layers.

Now you may place your tube and add the desired drop shadow, I used 3,3,100,12.0 then I used gradient glow 3,25,100,#d39fd4,100

Next is the easy part you may add your elements as you chose, this is what I did:

I added the candle re-sized @ 50 with a drop shadow of 2,2,100,10

Next I re-sized evil to 50 and used the same drop shadow and added the same gradient glow as the tube.

Then I took the black cat element re-sized 25 and added the same drop shadow and gradient glow.

Next I re-sized the black and grey roses 8 and copied and pasted into the new image and used the deform tool to place and re-size to suit.

I rezied the skull to 15 and added a drop shadow and a gradient glow

Next I used the purple ribbon twice and rotated and flipped to my liking

Finally I used the evil bottle cap re-sized 15 and used the deform tool for placement.

Now you may add your copyright and re-size, then add your name and you have completed my tutorial

Lost Love...

Scrap kit of choice I chose: ~Casualties of love~ by Black Widow Exclusives
Tube of Choice I chose the artwork of ©Anna Marine Which requires a license you may purchase at CILM
Mask of choice: I used mask 363 by WeeScotLass

Font of Choice I chose: Shelley Script LT

Now let's get started

Open a new image 750X750

Choose a paper from your kit I used paper 14 copy and paste into your image
apply your chosen mask by clicking layers load/save mask and choosing your mask
then you merge the mask layer by clicking merge, then merge group

Now you click on Selections select all, float, de-float, and I used element 13
without resizing it copy and paste into your image arrange as you like (you may use my tag as an example)
then invert delete then invert again and you may place your tube into the image
then invert delete and select none.

Now I went back and added drop shadows to both the element and tube I used 3, 3, 90, 12.0

Next you may add elements of choice to suit your tag I chose element 31, move behind the tube and first element and added the same drop shadow
duplicate and mirror... arrange as desired to suit your tube
then I went back to my mask layer and selected all, float, de-floated again and added Element 11 in the upper left corner invert, delete select none.
Next add element 22 and arrange as desired add the same drop shadow then duplicate and mirror.

Next add element 32 arrange as you choose then duplicate and mirror

Now add your copyright and name, re-size and you are done
